You Can Do Anything with U-Can

It was a few months ago now we were asked to try out the new range of U-Can products. U Can promise to make general building work easy by providing ready to use mixes such as tarmac, concrete and wall cement.

We chose one of each as we had a project in mind for them all. This is how we got on.

Tarmac

Potholes shouldn’t be our problem but having offices in the middle of nowhere we can’t ask the council to fix what is essentially a bridal path. The narrow road outside leads to our drive and has potholes as deep as my toddler’s knees.

Ordinarily this wouldn’t be too much of a problem, we’re used to it, but one was causing trouble. It was directing all rainfall down the hill to our barns creating a swamp effect under foot. Drainage isn’t optimum and our lawns and car park were becoming very muddy indeed.

We thought we’d need to wait for a dry day to fix this but in reality no day would be hot enough to dry out the pothole our resident ducks liked to swim in, so we bit the bullet and used U-Can.

It was like a road in a bucket. Tarmac just as you’d expect but without the heat. Completely mouldable and dry within an hour. Very easy to apply it took just minutes and horses trekked over it within seconds, despite our protests. The results, no more water to the car park and now, only one wheel gets stuck on a car that’s not 4WD when visiting our offices.

Concrete and Cement

The other products were just as easy to use and made light work of many projects. We used them on dry stone walls to add strength and in the cellar to block up holes rats were exploiting.
